Munmun Dutta (Moonmoon) is an Television Actress and model who is best known for her role as ‘Babita’ in the TV sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’ She was also appeared in couple of films and performed as a dancer in some songs.

Munmun Dutta was born in 1987 in Durgapur near Kolkata. She was born and grew up there. Her family members also are in singing and Munmun took formal training in classical music and is a Visharad. Munmun was also trained in Salsa and Latin American dance forms. Being the only girl child she is her papa’s dearest. After passing the 12^th grade in Bengal, she moved to Pune for further studies in fashion, dance, and art.

She is a very good dancer as well. Luckily she got a chance in Mumbai Express in 2006 when Kamal Hasan gave her a chance. As Puja saw her with Kamal Hassan in a photo published in an English newpaper she started looking for her and finally offered a shaded role in Holidays.

Munmun says that she learnt a lot from Puja Bhatta during the shooting of this film. She remained busy in southern films. Munmun has worked with Shahrukh, Yuvraj Singh, and Akshay Kumar. She also worked with directors like Farah Khan, Pradip Sorkar, Nikhil Advani.
